P: Simili modo postquam P: In like manner, after He
coenatum est, accipiens et had supped, taking also into
hunc praeclarum Calicem in His holy and venerable hands
sanctas ac venerabiles manus this goodly chalice again
suas: item tibi gratias giving thanks to Thee, He
agens, benedixit `†´, blessed it `†´, and gave it to
deditque discipulis suis, His disciples, saying: Take
dicens: Accipite et bibite ye, and drink ye all of this:
ex eo omnes:
•The priest bends over the Chalice and says:
HIC EST ENIM CALIX SANGUINIS FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY
MEI, NOVI ET AETERNI BLOOD, OF THE NEW AND
TESTAMENTI: MYSTERIUM FIDEI, EVERLASTING TESTAMENT, THE
QUI PRO VOBIS ET PRO MULTIS MYSTERY OF FAITH, WHICH FOR
EFFENDETUR IN REMISSIONEM YOU AND FOR MANY SHALL BE SHED
PECCATORUM. UNTO THE REMISSION OF SINS.
P: Haec quotiescumque P: As often as ye shall do
feceritis in mei memoriam these things, ye shall do
facietis. them in memory of Me.
